Former Amazon Executive Nadia Shouraboura Joins Formlabs Board of Directors

With experience in supply chain and operations at Amazon, Shouraboura will guide Formlabs as it navigates global expansion and ongoing supply chain transformation.

19 Apr 2022SOMERVILLE, MA – Formlabs, the leading 3D printing company, today announced  Nadia Shouraboura, a former member of Jeff Bezos’ executive S-Team and head of worldwide supply chain and fulfillment at Amazon, has joined its board of directors. Formlabs makes this addition to its board at a critical time for the company as it navigates a surge of growth during the global supply chain transformation.

Shouraboura brings a wealth of expertise in supply chain, operations, fulfillment, and customer experience. As Formlabs expands its global footprint with new products to enable mass customization and decentralized production, Shouraboura will guide the company toward successfully scaling its global operations to make a true impact on the supply chain and global manufacturing. Shouraboura has decades of experience as both an entrepreneur and within critical supply and operational roles during almost a decade at Amazon. In addition to sitting on the management board, she served on Jeff Bezos’ executive S-Team where she was responsible for the overall direction and operations of Amazon, and was the head of worldwide supply chain and fulfillment. During her time at Amazon, Shouraboura implemented a novel retail supply chain of the world’s largest product selection.

“Formlabs is the global leader in 3D printing, and the company is set for uncharted global growth in our category. Nadia has skills, experience, and expertise in operations and customer experience as both an entrepreneur and in leading global companies that will be invaluable to Formlabs’ next stages. The board is thrilled to welcome her,” said Formlabs co-founder and Chairman of the Board Natan Linder.

“I’ve had the opportunity to work with companies leveraging 3D printing in the past and have been amazed at how the technology has unlocked new design and manufacturing possibilities. Formlabs is going well beyond that, advancing the entire 3D printing category in an effort to completely transform the status quo of manufacturing. That’s why I’m excited to join the Formlabs board,” commented Nadia Shouraboura.

Shouraboura brings an entrepreneurial spirit and background as well, having founded Hointer to change the physical retail experience from the inside out, and later co-founding QuantyCat. In addition to Formlabs, Shouraboura serves on the boards of Ocado, Ferguson, and Tosca.

Shouraboura will also be tapping into her deep supply chain expertise at The Digital Factory Conference on May 3, where she will deliver a talk about designing a stronger supply chain to solve challenges today and into the future.
